THE DANIEL WELLINGTON WATCH

I obsessed about this watch for days weeks!

I think I have been visiting the DanielWellington website at least twice a day since I came across it on Instagram.

I was specifically lusting over the Classic St. Andrews watch. It was everything I needed to complete my now streamlined watch collection–brown leather, rose gold metal, and Japanese movement.

It’s sleek, preppy, and classy. The straps are interchangeable too!

I mentioned to the DBF that I like the watch BUT I didn’t think he would buy it for me! He did mention his plan of buying it online but he also said that the shipping would take days. And it would fail to arrive in time for his flight from Zürich (where he’s based) to London (where I’m studying). So it still came as a surprise to me when he gave me the cream and brown box when he arrived!

I’m telling you guys, the DBF is something else. He’s full of surprises and he really knows how to make me smile. I’m a very lucky and happy girl. 🙂

I styled the watch with my two current favourite bracelets from Accessorize.

I wore it to our weekend date in London.

I was kidding him that the reason why I like the watch is because of its brand initials: DW. If I happen to marry him, I would have the same initials! 😀

Ending this post with a quote I shared to my Facebook friends that I think they found truly inspiring:

“In human relationships, distance is not measured in miles but in affection. Two people can be right next to each other, yet miles apart. So stay in touch with those who truly matter to you. Not because it’s convenient, but because they’re worth the extra effort.”

Spread the love,

d.
