I seldom research about a place I’m about to go to. I want the element of surprise to always be there. I have the same attitude towards movies. I don’t really have high expectations. I enter the cinema, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show (no matter how corny, horrible, or predictable it may turn out to be).
I don’t really have high expectations. Maybe because I’m really just a shallow person. It’s so easy to make me happy. For me, life is meant to be enjoyed every second. Sure there will be problems along the way. But I’m not one to dwell on those. I focus on solutions. I always have to move forward. Quickly, smoothly, and happily!
Going to Kandersteg, Switzerland was no exception. I did not know a thing about the place. I just found myself in the company of friends, trekking the mountains, and blurting out a loud “wow” each time we reach a destination.
How can you not be mesmerized by this:
The colors of our world…amazing. I took them using my iPhone 5. No editing. No filters. When you see places like these, it’s so hard not to believe that there is a God who has intelligently designed Earth and the Universe. It’s simply breathtaking.
FIRST STOP: OESCHINENSEE
We had to ride a cable car to reach the peak. From there, we walked a few minutes and a beautiful oasis welcomed us.
THIRD STOP: Bern
We capped the long day taking pictures against this backdrop.
I went home feeling so much blessed. My world is wonderful. Each time I travel, I meet new friends and experience a lot of new things.
I allow life to surprise me and fill me up.
