I have always loved hearing the French speak. There’s something so romantic about their language.
So in my more than 2-week stay in France, I promised myself that I would try to learn the language. And I did!
Thanks to Uncle P, Auntie B, and Cousin C for patiently teaching me how to read and sing in French! Merci Beaucoup!
Here’s my video taken at the Palace of Versailles, singing in French:
I styled my statuesque friend Rhona in Parisian Chic:
We spent Christmas in Saint Marcel, a quaint province at the center of France.
Our uncle and auntie’s place was very cozy and the food they prepared for us was simply exquisite, meal after meal! During Christmas Eve, we had a seven-course meal that was made up of fresh oysters, shrimps, and salmon. It made us feel less homesick since it’s our first Christmas away from our family in the Philippines.
It was so nice to have spent a few days in this quiet village, away from the busy commercial stores and streets. Our days were spent doing yoga, dancing salsa and cha-cha, and walking around the plaza.
Until the next time,
